History

Kicked off in 2012 at the CLC 14th International Freight Forwarders & Logistics Cooperation Forum in Chongqing, China. 

Delivered out first open training event in Dubai in June 2012.

Within next 18 months we have delivered 10 open and in-house training events and have spoken or moderated 9 industry conferences in Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, Hong Kong, China, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

CLC Training becomes a unique consulting company, which moves logistics industry players forward through bespoke training, coaching and mentoring practices.   

Why CLC Training?

CLC Training is unique in two ways:

We focus on soft skills and leadership. And we probably are the only company, which creates HRD solutions exclusively by hands of logistics industry players. We don’t provide cross-industry training. Each of our training solutions has been tested and tuned for logistics service providers.

Henrik Christensen

Mr. Christensen has over 30-years of shipping and logistics experience in Denmark, England, Africa and Hong Kong. He has worked for one of the world's largest Logistical companies, Kuehne & Nagel, both in Europe and Africa.

In the mid 1980's Mr. Christensen founded his own company, Gator International, in Dar es Salaam. He pioneered a new transport route between Malawi and Tanzania in conjunction with the Government of Malawi.

Mr. Christensen returned to London in the late 1980's where he became the General Manager for Bellville Limited. In 1990, he co-founded Spedition Services Ltd., a company which pioneered transport links between Moscow, London and other Former Soviet Union locations.

After his arrival in Hong Kong, Mr. Christensen joined AGI Logistics (HK) Ltd., and in 2002 was appointed to the board of their US listed holding company Pacific CMA Inc. (PAM). As the Executive Vice President, he worked in New York, to bring (PAM) to the American Stock Exchange and raise capital for Mergers and Acquisitions. In 2004 Mr. Christensen co-founded Corporate Capital Consultants. He has successfully listed Wako Logistics Group, Inc. and is currently working with several other companies whom are preparing for public listing in the United States. Mr.Christensen is a founder and Chairman of China Logistics Club, global network for freight forwarders.

Mr. Christensen holds an MBA in Shipping and Logistics from the Copenhagen Business School.

Eugene Reznikov 

MBA, executive coach, certified user of The Predictive Index® (PI®)

Co-founder and sales coach with CLC Training (Hong Kong).

During his 13 years career in logistics and supply chain industry with world’s biggest brands (including  A.P.Moller-Maersk, FedEx) Eugene has negotiated, served and built relationships with global clients in electronics, personal care, retail and automotive industries including companies like Samsung, General Motors, MARS, Kimberly Clark, Adidas, CNPC and others.

Originally Russian, Eugene has lived and worked in various parts of Russia, Europe and Hong Kong.

Areas of expertise: sales structures, sales expertise, consultative selling, sales strategy. 

Juliet Kasko

Professional Experience

Juliet Kasko had more than 7 years experience with Maersk Line. She worked in different positions with her main experience in Sales and Global Key Accounts’ Management. She also has wide experience in the projects of break-bulk conversion into containers and other unique projects for major accounts of Maersk Line

During her work at CMA–CGM Juliet was involved in the search of the exclusive container terminal with the annual capacity over 300 000 TEUs for CMA vessels calling Ukraine. She also participated in negotiation process to form JV between Ukrainian railroads and CMA– CGM to operate container terminals in more than 5 cities all over Ukraine

In 2009 she joined GEFCO as Commercial Director for Ukraine with responsibility over sales and marketing activities. As a result she managed to develop relations and win tenders with several international FMCG accounts including opportunities for other GEFCO offices. Also developed automotive, high tech and industrial clients as core customers

Juliet also had two years of experience in commercial real estate sector (logistics & industrial) with international consulting companies Jones Lang LaSalle and Colliers International. During this period she got extensive professional expertise and developed wide network of contacts with local and international developers.

Juliet is a founder of CxO, executive search company specialised in maritime transportation & logistics. 

Evgeny Malakhov

Marine business leader with 16 years of broad practical experience in forwarding and shipping business as well as managing mid-size international marine organizations. Background in private forwarding agency, 9 years stint in Maersk Line in regional managerial positions and change project management. Recent 3 years experiences in leading Russian subdivision of one of the biggest off-shore Towage Company (The Netherlands).

Christopher Thomas, Presentations Coach

Over 16 years experience working as an Independent Training Consultant specialising in Presentations, Negotiations, Creative Thinking, Intercultural Communication and Entrepreneurial Skills, in multinational corporations throughout Europe and Asia.

Over 10 years experience training at ExxonMobil.

Lived and worked in U.K., Spain, Ireland, Germany and Hong Kong.

Alexander Robertson

Mr. Robertson started his career in what they call the BC days (Before Containerisation) working for the South African Railways and Harbours in 1969. 

Mr. Robertson was employed by various insurance companies including Lloyd’s of London survey and claims settling agent for South Africa for over 25 years.

Mr. Robertson has also spent 12 years with Green Africa Shipping (Pty) Limited (agents for Evergreen Marine Corporation) where he was in charge of all claims against their principal lodged in South Africa plus insurance portfolio of the group.

In April 2008 Mr. Robertson opened his own company involved in cargo surveys, recoveries against liable parties as well acting as a consultant. Since then Mr. Robertson has composed a cargo insurance manual, which is kept fully up to date with the latest clauses and happenings in international trade and based on which Alexander has developed a world-class workshop on Cargo Insurance.

Mr. Robertson is a fully accredited assessor and moderator in training being registered as such with TETA in South Africa.  Robertson's Cargo Consultancy (Pty) Ltd is an accredited training provider under TETA registration number TETA14-425.

Matteo De Simone

Matteo De Simone is a charismatic leader with over 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Matteo has been delivering turnaround projects with Italy’s biggest brands and has worked in various locations inside EU.

With strong experience in process re-engineering and supply chain Matteo has been involved as a consultant in multiple complex projects all around Europe.

Matteo’s consulting and C-level employment experience includes strategic market development, distribution and warehousing networks set up, financial turn-around and operations set up projects.

Matteo holds a Doctor degree in Agronomy and Crop Science.
